Entertainment & Events

There are a variety of events and entertainment throughout the year. Besides the many Quiz Nights and other fund-raising events by the local clubs and societies, there are a number of traditional/annual events.

Visit our What's On pages for details of up and coming events.

The Buntingford Classic

Early September classic and vintage vehicles come to town. The High Street is closed for the very large array of vehicles and stalls. There is normally music and other entertainment to keep everyone amused.

This is organised by the Buntingford Chamber of Commerce.

Buntingford Carnival

A fantastic event which is held in June every other year. This is organised by a very hard-working and dedicated band lead by Ashley Cantor. Two years of sheer hard work always comes up trumps and is great fun for all the family.

Lights of Love

On the last Friday of November, the Isabel Hospice host a Lights of Love ceremony at the Manor House supported by Buntingford Town Council. There is a service of carols, readings and the turning on of the Christmas tree lights.

It's Theatre Time

The local Buntingford Dramatic Society normally treads the boards twice a year, once in Spring and again in August. Productions range from the sublime to the ridiculous and are always great entertainment.
