Scenic race will take in local sights
Runners in Kettering can sign up to a brand-new race with a scenic route taking in the town centre and Boughton House.
Participants in the half marathon will start at Wicksteed Park, heading into the town centre and then the grounds of Boughton House, before finishing back at Wicksteed.

Kettfest jam-packs fun in the town centre
Kettfest returns this Saturday to celebrate the talent of the town.
Held across the town centre, the one-day festival will feature local musicians, dancers, poets and artists.

Locally-brewed beer is fit for a Mayor
The Mayor of Kettering is raising funds during his year with a specially-brewed beer.
Called "Worship" the ale has been created by Kettering's Potbelly Brewery and will be available throughout Cllr Craig Skinner's year in office.
The India Pale Ale will be available in shops and pubs across Kettering, as well as being on sale direct from the brewery and beer festivals throughout the year.

Community market features voluntary groups
A market in Kettering is being held this weekend to showcase local groups and the work they do to help the community.
The Kettering Community Summer Market is being held in the Market Place on Saturday 8 June.

Armed forces and D-Day celebrations
Kettering will celebrate armed forces past and present in a community festival next month.

Blooms brighten town for summer displays
Patriotic planting is going up around Kettering for the summer to brighten up the town.
Thousands of bedding plants in red, white and blue colours are being put in to celebrate the anniversary of D-Day and the Olympics.
